November 21st 2022. MVP Arena. Albany, New York. Monday Night RAW. Damage CTRL, Rhea Ripley and Nikki Cross were primed for Mami to eradicate herself an Empress in a WarGames Advantage Match. What Mami wants Mami takes. That's not an opinion... it's a fact. Prior to her match against Asuka, Ripley damaged "Michin" Mia Yim courtesy of a big kick. RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss accompanied Asuka to the ring. The crowd jeered as Belair said they wouldn't reveal their final teammate until Friday on SmackDown. I jeered too.
The Ladies and Nikki accompanied Ripley to the ring. Prior to the opening bell, Bayley called Bianca's leadership into question, stating she's surprised Belair could find a fifth teammate because nobody respects her. And her so-called friends are just there smooching for eventual title matches. I think she's onto something about the so-called friends. However, I suspect there are plenty women merely looking to take a crack at The Ladies because they control the division. When you're as damn good as The Ladies, everyone is always coming for you. Bayley also brought up a good point: Bianca is throwing Asuka at Rhea instead of doing it herself like a real leader, a real champion.
Ripley and Asuka battled with their respective teammates ordered to watch on from backstage. Damage CTRL and Nikki would eventually come down to offer moral support from ringside followed by Bianca and Alexa. Ripley scored the win over Asuka after hitting the Riptide. Chaos followed with all present WarGames competitors including a recovered Michin brawling around ringside. Last week I nicknamed Team Damage CTRL: Damage Kombat Club. On Saturday, they will come around Boston and unleash some big time damage on Team EST.
