November 28th 2022. Norfolk Scope Arena. Norfolk, Virginia. Monday Night RAW. WarGames had come and gone. But the wounds suffered were visible and present. Becky Lynch came out to celebrate her return amongst the crowd. Bayley came out to object to everyone showering Becky's performance in the brutal WarGames with praise while never giving The Role Model the same respect for putting her body on the line during her recent succession of brutal matches. It's obvious based on past entries but to reaffirm: Here at Team Kick Source, Bayley is always respected violent match or not. Bayley needs to be shown more respect. Period!

Respect Your Genius of the Sky IYO SKY. Respect Your Role Model Bayley. Respect Your Captain and King Dakota Kai. You should already.

Becky thought she had ended her war with Damage CTRL at Survivor Series. The Ladies didn't share that opinion. Becky was fine to continue the war but Bayley pointed out that couldn't happen with Lynch in the crowd. WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai & IYO SKY came out to assist Becky to the ring. Lynch brawled with Dakota and IYO, winding up in the concession stands. Bayley joined in to give Becky what she wanted. Merchandise was used. A table got turned over. Dakota used a John Cena replica chain on Becky. The Captain is Here! Security would bring a stop to the brawl.

Dakota Kai was dressed for competition because she would face Candice LeRae whom Damage CTRL put out of action back on the October 24th 2022 episode of RAW. Prior to the match, Candice reintroduced herself with a vicious streak in her voice, vowing to take Dakota out. The Captain of Team Kick came out to the ring sans Bayley and IYO to the tune of Kombat. Candice attacked Dakota from behind. When Damage CTRL attacked Candice last month, they actually did it to her face. Just saying.

Candice tossed Dakota around ringside for a bit before the action hit the ring. Kai was already in immense pain. She had kinesio tape over her wounded shoulder. Yet, Our Captain would not cower away from this battle. Candice went for the kill at the bell, shortly after hitting a suplex followed by a cover with a kick out at one. Bayley and IYO came out to lend moral support but were thrown out by a suits and stripes gaggle because they weren't cleared to compete following the carnage they went through during WarGames therefore not allowed to be at ringside.

She's been wrestling for 20 years. Yet, Candice made the rookie mistake of turning her attention away from her actual opponent to leave the ring and shout at Bayley and IYO as they were being tossed out. Has she been hanging out with easily distracted Raquel Rodriguez? Candice would pay for her mistake, receiving a strike and kick from Kai as she returned her focus to her. Kai whipped Candice to the ropes but The Poison Pixie won out, taking Dakota down for a two count with a sunset flip. Candice caught Kai with a backslide then an Oklahoma roll to no success. Dakota shot back, slugging Candice to the canvas with a clothesline for a two on the cover.

Kai laced in a pump kick and PK to the back. Candice got tossed to the floor so Kai could get some respite. It was clear from the start that her shoulder wasn't 100% and every time she struck or was struck it took its toll on her. But she fought through the pain, coming right at Candice when she reentered the ring, smashing her with a stomp followed by some boot choke and clobbering blows. Candice fought back with a headbutt to the stomach followed by a snapmare and jackknife cover for two.

Dakota shot back with a pump kick to the head, nearly knocking Candice out. Kai followed up by whipping Candice so hard to the turnbuckles that Dakota fell to her knees. Dakota repeated. After the whips, Kai went for the running face wash in the corner. Candice moved out of the way, Dakota's leg taking some punishment in the process. Candice caught Dakota on a charge, sending her to the apron. Dakota evaded a shoulder thrust, coming back with a pump kick. Kai wanted to suplex Candice on the apron. Instead, the Poison Pixie fought her off and mauled Kai to the apron with a flatliner. The action returned to the ring. Candice flew off the top rope hitting Kai with a missile dropkick.

Candice went for a cover but Kai kicked out. Dakota instinctively rolled to the floor to regroup. LeRae charged forth, hoping to hit a tope through the ropes, however Dakota cut her off with a sick fucking kick to the head. Candice fell to the canvas while Dakota hit the floor in a heap holding her wounded shoulder. RAW went to another commercial break bringing this banger into three segments. When the break was over, RAW returned with Dakota unleashing Kawada kicks. Candice would catch one after taking a few. She unleashed a crazed succession of strikes that mauled Dakota into the corner. Mudhole stomps, a charging elbow and snapmare followed.

Kai fought back, lunging at Candice who caught her. Dakota tried to escape with a roundhouse kick. Candice ducked and lifted her up and over her head with a bridging crotch clutch suplex for a two count. LeRae followed with a standing senton off Kai's back but Dakota rolled out of the way. Kai got to her feet, pointing at Candice to signal the Kaio-Kick was coming. But Kai was caught during her charge with an elbow strike. Dakota got to her feet, catching LeRae with a superkick as the Poison Pixie flew off the second rope. Kai went for a cover but Candice pushed her off at two.

Dakota wasted no time going for more offense, pointing once again at Candice before charging for another Kaio-Kick, this time smashing LeRae in the face. Kai ran the ropes, coming at Candice with a running PK. Candice evaded, rolling Kai up for a two count. Dakota kicked out with force to state she was still in this. Candice connected with a superkick and back kick followed by a one legged dropkick. LeRae went for a Lionsault but Dakota rolled out of the way. The two got to their feet, going blow for violent blow. Candice changed it up, slapping Kai. Dakota stung back with the Scorpion Kick.

Our Captain lifted Candice over her shoulders and executed Go to Kick. Goodnight. TTYL! Dakota swept the falling LeRae into a cover. Surely, she had sealed Candice's fate. Yet, Candice would not go down, pushing Kai off her as she kicked out. Dakota fought off the shoulder pain, lifting Candice up to the top rope. Candice fought Kai off with a hard slap to the wounded shoulder. Kai smacked back with a rope assisted enziguri to the face. Dakota got Candice in position for a superplex. Candice pounded Kai across the back to free herself, bringing Dakota down hard to the canvas with an avalanche swinging neckbreaker. LeRae crumpled Kai up and pressed herself over her legs to secure her down for the three count and victory.

Forget the attack back in October. Forget the way Candice attacked Dakota from behind prior to the match. By the final moments, tonight's match had long since evolved into a competitive, hard-fought battle between two of the best in the world. They held nothing back. Credit must be given where it's due. This was Candice's main roster breakout performance. For Dakota, it was the second of two main roster breakout performances over the course of the last three days.

On Saturday, Dakota fought her heart out. She showed what a badass and workhorse she is, enduring (rounded out to) 40 minutes of brutality in WarGames. Dakota did the same on RAW, now with the added toughness of fighting through the pain suffered on Saturday. Dakota didn't need to prove anything to anyone. Those of us who have followed her work for years know how damn good she is. Over the last few days, those who didn't believe now do. Our Captain "King Kota" Dakota Kai. The Ironwoman of WarGames.
