February 20th 2023. Ottawa, Ontario. Canadian Tire Centre. Monday Night RAW. It was all about the Mone for Bayley on Saturday. Now, it's back to Damage CTRL business hosting WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY on her award winning talk show "Ding Dong, Hello!". WrestleMania 39 is about six weeks away. This year WrestleMania will once again be going Hollywood. It's only fitting Our Captain and The Genius would do the best show of the late night circuit to get the Damage CTRL hype started for the huge weekend.

It's Family Day in Canada so Bayley wanted to spend it with hers. Bayley hugged Dakota and IYO and said nobody will ever love them like she does. Now, it was time for questions. Bayley asked Dakota how it feels to be part of the greatest WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. Our Captain credited Bayley for making their 100+ day so far title reign even possible. Kai pointed out the truth: They have defeated all challengers. Hell, they even defeated Becky Lynch during a non-title match back in January.

Becky Lynch came out and trashed Kai and SKY for not defending the titles so far this year, forgetting the division lacks active teams. The teams... the one where a member vanished for a bit after losing the SmackDown Women's Championship. Michin and Candice where LeRae lost to SKY then Michin and her were rewarded with a chance to enter the Elimination Chamber, forgetting about their tag title quest. More importantly though, Kai is injured and using a crutch thus isn't cleared for in-ring competition. Becky really is a big dope to imply what she's implying about Kai and SKY. She conveniently forgot too that Kai and SKY did defend the tag titles at house shows in January prior to Kai's injury.

So, Lynch wants to force a team with an injured member to defend the titles against her and Lita. Of course, instead of first offering to prove themselves worthy of a title match, Lita and Becky did the Lita has a Hall of Fame ring routine. Kai and SKY have been fighting champions who don't back down but that was when Kai wasn't injured. This time is different so the champions are understandably not eager to allow Becky and Lita to take advantage of an injured person. Confident her girls can still get the job done, Bayley accepted the challenge for them.

Lita and Becky rudely snatched the tag titles from the waists of Kai and SKY to strike a pose. That's the closest they will get to the titles. Next week on RAW, Lita and Becky challenge Kai and SKY. I have no doubt Our Captain will be fighting-ready. I see no reason to doubt that Bayley made the right call accepting the challenge. They are The Ladies dammit. When they are screwed over like that cage match, they come back with a fury unleashing worse hell. That is what they will do next week. And rub it in their opponents' faces. Her's too if she shows up.

The Ladies were not done for the night, granting RAW Talk a moment of their time. Dakota was The Captain of Confidence, noting Becky and Lita are a makeshift team who were at war a year ago. Still, Kai doesn't think this is a good idea. Bayley disagreed saying it's a great idea, reassuring Kai it seemed. The Role Model rightfully called out Becky and Lita for the bullies they are, reminding all the so-called heroines are going after the still injured Kai.

Bayley promised Kai and SKY she would never do anything to compromise the Damage CTRL sisterhood or tag team title reign. She accepted the challenge for Kai and SKY because of the trios' dominance as a unit including the Royal Rumble. They are three while Lita and Becky are barely two. IYO said firmly they are going to WrestleMania as champions. It was time for The Ladies to take their leave. They have a match to prepare for. Kai said she'll feel better by next week, in fact she felt better already.

I know some of you might still be concerned. But fear not, there's nothing to be concerned about. It's going to be yet another successful Kai and SKY tag team title defense.
