Becky Lynch and Lita challenging IYO SKY and Dakota Kai for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship is not just about the titles. Bayley affirmed it was about their story, the legacy of Damage CTRL.

There was no reason to be concerned. Bayley accepted the match because she has confidence in her friends. She wasn't throwing her girls to the wolves like she supposedly did to Sasha Banks in 2020. The Role Model's words are genuine. This should have been a wonderful night for Damage CTRL. Another successful title defense. But it sucked. I only chronicle it for historical record. Begrudgingly.

That damn Trish Stratus. But first some positive. Our Captain was on fire for a bit, unleashing the Scorpion Kick on Becky after an impressive double team sequence. Bayley got very emotional and bumped into Lita, knocking her off the apron. Lita deserved it. SKY and Kai almost had a victory after a double back suplex. Then it happened. The negative. That damn Trish Stratus ran down to attack Bayley who was presently just cheering on her friends.

Becky Lynch and Lita are the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. February 27th 2023 will go down as an awful day. There will be hellfire to pay for Becky and her entitled friends. Miscreants! Fiends! Bullies! Villains! Scoundrels! Criminals even for breaking into "Ding, Dong Hello!" last week when not invited. Bitter Time Becks and fiends will rue the day. The Ladies are still in control.
