Trish Stratus came back to cost Dakota Kai and IYO SKY the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship to Lita and Becky Lynch. Team Becky I'll call them to be polite came out to brag about it. Trish reminisced about the time last August she implied she would come out of retirement for a match against Bayley. Damage CTRL came to the ring. Team Becky did the "so typical of them" reaction even though Trish was literally asking for it.

Bayley rightfully called Trish and Lita selfish for coming back when it's convenient for them, and just to have things to add to their trophy cases. The Role Model does not lie. If Trish and Lita were selfless legends, Lita wouldn't have helped Becky manipulate Bayley into accepting a title defense for Kai and SKY when Dakota didn't even know if she'd be cleared to compete. Bayley acknowledged Trish and Lita are legitimately the reason Damage CTRL are in the wrestling business, however they'll now be the reason Lita and Trish never come back.

Trish goaded Damage CTRL into a six woman tag team match at WrestleMania. Bayley did not consult Kai and SKY, accepting the match for them and herself. It looked like Kai and SKY were understandably taken a bit back. What if they instead wanted to challenge for the tag team titles? Bayley could have at least consulted with them. Just saying. But AH HA their taken a bit back reaction was just a ploy to get Team Becky off their game so Kai and SKY could deck them good. Sadly, Trish and Lita did similar stuff in the past, therefore anticipated it and sent them to the floor.

Team Becky attacked Bayley. Dakota and IYO pulled Bayley from the ring before the trio could do more harm to their friend. At WrestleMania 39, it'll be a star-studded blockbuster when Damage CTRL look to finish their rivalry with Becky Lynch and put Lita and Trish Stratus on the shelf for good. That taken a bit back ploy by The Ladies was just an attempt to goad Team Becky into a fight. Yes, Team Becky got the better in that moment. But come WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood, Damage CTRL will show them whose truly in control of this town.
