September 1, 2023. Hershey, Pennsylvania. GIANT Center. SmackDown. Apparently, some guy you can't even see made his return. I'll tell you who you can see: Dakota Kai, WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY and Bayley. Speaking of The Role Model, I heard a rumor Beyonce anointed Bayley the next Queen Bee. Just a rumor. So, it's been smooth sailing for The Ladies in the last month. Unfortunately, that demented lunatic Shotzi and her sheers have been waiting in the shadows to strike. Bayley looked to finally put Shotzi in the past when they met in the ring.
Dakota Kai and IYO SKY cheered Bayley on from ringside. Bayley and Shotzi battled back and forth. Shotzi went for the top rope senton but the mere sight of the WWE Women's Champion stole her gaze allowing Bayley to throat-first her across the top rope. Dakota glanced a concerned look over at Bayley asking IYO to hand her the championship to smash Shotzi in plain sight of the referee. That would cost Bayley the match so IYO was reluctant. That entitled brat Charlotte strut out, I suspect to demand IYO just hand her the WWE Women's Championship.
Bayley told IYO to fend off Charlotte who was going to help Shotzi since cheating is in her family blood. Charlotte tossed IYO against the barrier. Back in the ring, Shotzi had made her way up against the turnbuckles. A ringside fan sent me a text that Shotzi had mocked Dakota's injury. Our Captain being the proud woman she is, was going to sock some respect into that lunatic but the referee turned around so she couldn't. The referee conveniently chose to badmouth Dakota therefore didn't see Charlotte clock Bayley giving Shotzi the unfair, assisted victory.
The referee was Charles Robinson who is well-known for being in the Flair Family pocketbook going back to WCW. You know he knew Charlotte was going to interfere and allowed himself to not notice it. Bayley and IYO won't have to wait long to get revenge as they face Charlotte and Shotzi in a tag team match on the next episode of SmackDown. It'll be their own personal Payback after that travesty of injustice the paid off disgrace of an IDIOT referee allowed.
In a WWE Digital Exclusive with Cathy Kelley, Bayley no fucks given preached how fed up she is with Charlotte sticking her nose in Damage CTRL business. She pointed out with comedic genius that Charlotte sniffs out gold like a poochie sniffs out a bone. Kai and SKY looked frustrated. Bayley and IYO made it clear they are ready for Charlotte and her new gullible pet, Shotzi. As IYO and Bayley took their leave to get a freakin' bandage for SKY's bleeding knee, buddies Dakota and Cathy bid each other a sorrowful farewell for now. Charlotte ruined everyone's evening.
I have to wonder. Bayley could have opted to hit The Rose Plant on Shotzi and go for the win instead of plotting to use the championship. Had she done that, she might have won the match. This recalls when Bayley could have done the same during the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles Match on the May 12, 2023 episode of SmackDown but didn't, costing Dakota and her the win. During the September 1, 2023 WWE Digital Exclusive, I wondered if Dakota and IYO were musing the same. Ah well, my gut tells me to perish all such thoughts so I shall do just that.
